“Bhagavanthudu” Drops ‘Saranamanna Saranam’ as a Tribute to Labour

On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, actor Thiruveer paid a heartfelt tribute to the working class by unveiling the powerful track “Saranamanna Saranam” from his upcoming film Bhagavanthudu.

“Bhagavanthudu” features Thiruveer in the lead, alongside Faria Abdullah as the female lead, with Kannada actor Rishi playing a pivotal role. The film is presented by Panasa Shankaraya Goud and produced by Ravi Panasa under the banner of Ravi Panasa Film Corporation. Marking a significant debut, G.G. Vihari helms the project as director. Positioned as a romantic period political action drama, the film is steadily progressing towards its release.

Commemorating May Day, the makers released “Saranamanna Saranam,” a song that stands as a stirring ode to the resilience and spirit of laborers. Composed by HI KP, the track carries a deeply inspiring tone, while singer Kumara Vagdevi brings it to life with a soulful and emotionally rich rendition.

Sharing the essence behind the song, the team described it as more than just music—it is a cultural and spiritual tribute. They emphasized how, in Indian tradition, every form of work begins with the blessings of mother goddesses. From invoking Poleramma before tilling the land, to remembering Gangamma during irrigation work, and seeking Yellamma’s grace in both hardship and joy, these divine figures symbolize unwavering strength and protection.

“Saranamanna Saranam” captures this profound connection between labor and faith. It reflects the heartbeat of the working class—from farmers and blacksmiths to potters—celebrating the hands that transform sweat into sustenance and life from soil. The song stands as an anthem for workers across the nation, honoring not only their toil but also the sacred bond between labor and motherhood.

On this meaningful occasion, the makers extend their salutations to the people of the soil and the mother goddesses who watch over them, making the song a fitting and emotional tribute to the true backbone of society.
