Bellamkonda Suresh Reflects on 25 Years in the Film Industry
Bellamkonda Suresh, a prominent producer in the Telugu film industry, recently celebrated a significant milestone—completing 25 successful years as a producer. Sharing his journey during a press meet coinciding with his 57th birthday, Suresh expressed gratitude and excitement for the future.
A Wonderful Journey
Reflecting on his career, Suresh said:
“It has been a wonderful journey. Over the past 25 years, I have produced 38 films and gained immense respect in the industry. My journey began with the successful movie ‘Sambayya’ featuring the late Srihari. While I celebrate this milestone, I deeply miss him—he was not only a great actor but also a wonderful human being.”
Special Birthday Plans
This birthday is extra special for Suresh as he plans to restart film production.
“After a gap of nine years, I am beginning new projects in April. I’ll start with a film featuring my son,” he revealed.
Why the Long Hiatus?
Addressing his prolonged break, Suresh explained:
“My children were pursuing their careers in the industry, so I took a step back to focus on them. My elder son, Srinivas, is now well-established, and my younger son is finding his footing. Both will start their projects in April, and I will share more details soon.”
Srinivas Bellamkonda’s Projects
Speaking about his elder son’s work, he said:
“Srinivas is currently working on four projects, including ‘Tyson Naidu,’ a remake of ‘Garudan,’ and another film by Kodiramakrishna’s team—a high-budget production with extensive CGI work, aiming for a Christmas release.”
Changes in Production Over the Years
Despite stepping back from active production, Suresh has remained connected to the industry.
“I executed the Hindi remake of ‘Chatrapathi.’ Over time, production methods have evolved significantly, but my passion remains intact,” he shared.
Notable Collaborations and Future Aspirations
Suresh is known for producing iconic films like Aadi with Jr. NTR. On the possibility of another collaboration with the star, he said:
“That depends on circumstances, but I remain in touch with everyone, including directors like Vinayak and Puri Jagannadh, whom I greatly admire.”
When asked about new directors, Suresh expressed enthusiasm:
“Many talented new directors are emerging with fantastic stories. I look forward to working with them.”
Upcoming Projects and Remakes
Bellamkonda Suresh hinted at exploring remakes again:
“I’ve taken up a remake project that I believe will be a huge hit in Telugu. If the story is compelling, remakes can perform exceptionally well.”

When asked about a director he wishes to work with, Suresh promptly replied:
“Puri Jagannadh. He redefines heroism, elevates actors, and delivers films within 90 days. I am eager to collaborate with such a visionary.”

Suresh attributes his success to Mohan Babu:
“He supported me when I had no one. He made me a manager in films, and I owe him everything. He is my Godfather.”
