Ankit Reddy under the Silver Screen Cinemas banner, with Shantanu Pathi presenting it. Dialogues are penned by Sai Madhav Burra, and the music is composed by Vivek Sagar.
The teaser was released today by Rocking Star Manchu Manoj, who lauded Avinash for his commitment and passion toward filmmaking.
Team Speaks at the Teaser Launch
Creative Director Janakiram said,
“We thank Manoj Garu for launching our teaser. With strong teamwork, we are bringing a unique mythological rural drama to the audience. We hope everyone supports us wholeheartedly.”
Actor Harsha
“I share a deep bond with Manoj Garu. Avinash has dedicated two and a half years to this film. We are grateful that he included us in this beautiful journey.”
Editor Chota K. Prasad
“When I first came onboard, I had no major expectations. But witnessing Avinash’s relentless dedication changed my perspective. His passion earned my respect. The teaser reflects the quality one would expect from an experienced director.”
Story & Screenplay Writer Viswajith
“The story was born from a simple thought—what if Hanuman had complete freedom during the Lanka episode? What if the Vaanara General directly confronted Ravana? This idea shaped the core of Vaanara. I learned here that a script alone isn’t enough—the journey to the screen is what truly matters.”
Actor Shivaji Raja
“Manoj has a golden hand—just like the song he launched for Raju Weds Rambai became a hit, I wish similar success for Vaanara. I play Avinash’s father in the film. He is immensely talented, and I hope this project gives him the recognition he deserves.”
Presenter Shantanu Pathi
“I thank Manoj anna for always supporting newcomers. Avinash and I have been friends since school. His love for cinema has been constant. What began as a small dream grew into a big project with top technicians like Sai Madhav Burra, Vivek Sagar, and Chota Prasad backing it.”
Dialogue Writer Sai Madhav Burra
“The title Vaanara demands a monumental film, and this one will rise to that level. This young team’s passion inspired even seasoned technicians like us. Avinash has mastered every aspect of filmmaking. The industry needs films like Vaanara.”
DOP Sujatha Siddharth
“I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project. Avinash’s passion was evident every day. He gave me complete freedom, and we even reshot scenes for perfection. The visual output is stunning.”
From the Director & Hero: Avinash Thiruveedhula
“I thank Manoj anna for his support. Becoming an actor was my father’s dream, and today, that dream has come true. Our team worked tirelessly for two and a half years.
Sai Madhav Burra Garu not only wrote the dialogues but even sent voice references for actors, which helped me direct better. Vivek Sagar’s music will be one of the film’s biggest highlights, while Chota Prasad Garu guided us at every step.
This one film gave me the experience of making five. Vishwak Sen anna supported us with his voiceover immediately, and Kiran Abbavaram guided us after seeing the content.
The story follows a Vaanara-like hero whose beloved bike is taken away by a Ravana-like villain, leading to an intense, emotional, and thrilling journey. I promise the film will surprise audiences with its scale and storytelling.”
Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s Take
“I’m happy to launch the Vaanara teaser. Avinash is talented and hardworking. Handling both acting and direction in his debut film is remarkable. Today, content defines success—not the budget. Good cinema crosses boundaries and becomes Indian cinema.
Avinash has fulfilled his father Hanumantha Rao Garu’s dream. Watching him today would make any father proud. I’ve seen the film—it has shaped up wonderfully. The scenes with Shivaji Raja Garu moved me deeply. I will also be reviving my project Aham Brahmasmi with Sai Madhav Burra Garu soon.”
