After the sensational Arjun Reddy in Telugu and its remake in Hindi, Sandeep Reddy Vanga came up with another Hindi film ‘Animal’. Let us check the review.

Balbir Singh (Anil Kapoor) is one of the richest persons in the country. He owns Swastik Steel Factory. An aggressive person Ran Vijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) is his son. For example, he takes a gun to his sister’s college to scare the youth who ragged his sister. Balbir does not like the behaviour of his son and sends him to boarding school. After his return, a quarrel with his brother-in-law further distances Vijay from Balbir. As a result, Balbir sends Vijay to America and the latter returns after eight years knowing that there was an attempt to kill his father. He vows to chop off the heads of those who attack. What happened after that?

When did Geetanjali (Rashmika) and Ran Vijay Singh fall in love? How is their life? Who attacked Balbir Singh? Who is Abrar (Bobby Deol)? What was the relationship or enmity between them and Ran Vijay Singh’s family? It should be seen on the silver screen.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga does not make any pretensions to say what he wants to say directly and clearly. ‘Animal’ also has that mark of direction. Sandeep Reddy built up a larger-than-life picture as if everything is on the next level. The climax kick was given to the interval itself. That action block is superb.

There are no rules and lines in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s book. He has a habit of taking scenes without calculating. Because of that the scenes after the interval seemed to be longer. Emotions are given importance. The background song is an example of Sandeep Vanga’s directorial talent. In that sequence, a heightened feeling begins in the viewer.

What happens after the interval? There are some scenes that the audience watched with interest. Ranbir Kapoor’s intense performance covers all the shortcomings to some extent.Harshavardhan Rameshwar gave life to the movie with background music. As heroism is elevated, the importance of his RR and songs cannot be forgotten. Camera work is top-class. Production values are high. Sandeep Reddy Vanga mark appeared in the words. As criticisms have been made on ‘Arjun Reddy’…some people can criticize the scenes between Rashmika and Ranbir as well as the dialogues. Such is the effect of bold scenes.

Ranbir Kapoor became known for his performance before his stardom. After watching ‘Sanju’… even if Sanjay Dutt did the real-life character, Ranbir could not do it as well. Ranbir is one of those heroes who only plays the character. Ran brought life to Vijay Singh’s character. Teenagers, young age, middle age… lived in different stages. The audience is made to travel along with the character.

Rashmika Mandanna did justice to the role of Geetanjali. Trupti Dimri’s glamour in Zoya’s role attracts some. A discussion takes place about the romantic scene between her and Ranbir. Anil Kapoor’s performance as Ranbir’s father is nothing to sneeze at.
