Adivi Sesh & Mrunal Thakur’s Dacoit Movie Update
The makers of Dacoit are steadily building excitement, now shifting gears from gritty, high-octane action to soulful romance as they launch the film’s musical journey. Headlined by Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the Telugu–Hindi bilingual marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo and has already generated strong buzz with its teaser and glimpse.
It has been officially announced that the film’s first single, “Rubaroo,” will be unveiled on February 27. The song poster beautifully captures contrasting emotions—Sesh in a composed yet intense frame, while Mrunal radiates warmth with her gentle, reassuring smile. The visual hints at a poignant romantic track that runs parallel to the film’s rugged and raw narrative.
Set against a world of dust, danger, and dacoits, Dacoit promises a layered storytelling experience, with Rubaroo adding a refreshing emotional dimension. The song is expected to showcase the lead pair’s compelling chemistry and offer deeper insight into the relationship that anchors the story. The film’s music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, raising expectations for a soulful and impactful soundtrack.
The film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. Adding further gravitas to the project, acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap plays a pivotal role.
Simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi, Dacoit is gearing up for a grand Pan-India release, with Rubaroo set to offer audiences their first taste of the film’s emotional heartbeat.
