“Actor Sivaji’s Dream Comes True with Court – A Blockbuster Comeback!”

“Actor Sivaji’s Dream Comes True with Court – A Blockbuster Comeback!

The overwhelming response to the film Court has brought me immense joy. My 25-year-long dream has finally come true through the role of Mangapathi in Court – Actor Sivaji.

Natural Star Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema presents the latest blockbuster movie, Court – State vs. A Nobody. Starring Priyadarshi in the lead role, this film is directed by Ram Jagadeesh and produced by Prashanthi Tipirneni, with Deepti Ganta as the co-producer. The film’s premieres received a tremendous response. Released worldwide on March 14, the movie has turned out to be a unanimous blockbuster hit.

Sivaji garu, the film and your role as Mangapathi have received an amazing response. Congratulations!

Thank you!

After almost 12 years, how did it feel to return with such a powerful role like Mangapathi?

My family and kids always encouraged me to act again. I also wanted to, but I never approached anyone for roles. I met ETV Bapineedu garu and discussed my interest in production, but he suggested that I act instead. That’s how I took up the 90s web series. While working on that, I received an offer for Bigg Boss. I saw it as a platform to reintroduce myself, and through that show, people got to know the real Sivaji. At the same time, the 90s web series became a big hit, leading to many offers. I listened to nearly 80 scripts, but most were father roles, which I rejected. Court’s Mangapathi character was my 25-year dream role, and I was thrilled to get this opportunity through Nani garu.

What challenges did you face after choosing the role of Mangapathi?

I asked the director why he selected me for this character. He said, “After writing the script all day, I would sit in front of the TV at night, and you would appear on the screen. You were a perfect fit for this role.” I believe this character was made for me. The director created this role based on real-life inspiration, and all credit goes to him. He gave me a chance to prove myself. The way he crafted every character in the film is remarkable.

Legendary actors like S.V. Ranga Rao, Gummadi, Jaggayya, and Rajanala have played unforgettable roles. Did you always aspire to play such roles?

Yes, I always wanted to do such roles. I never aimed to be a typical hero. Even in movies like Jalsa, Ottesi Chepputunna, and Manasunte Chaalu, I played unique roles.

In your re-entry, you played a positive role in 90s and a negative role in Court as Mangapathi. Which one do you like more?

Definitely, Mangapathi. This role carries a natural emotion. Every family has a protective person like him, and his behavior is very real.

The response to your role as Mangapathi has been phenomenal. Some reviews even compared your performance to Bobby Deol in Animal, saying you did better. How does that feel?

Hearing that made me very happy.

Do you regret staying away from films for so long?

Not at all. I stood for the people, fought for my region, and for the future generations. I have no regrets. I will always stand with the people.

What’s next for you?

I am working on a film with Laya and another movie titled Dandora. There will also be a sequel to 90s.

Have you been offered any roles similar to Mangapathi?

I have been offered a character called “Medical Shop Murthy.” They will announce it soon.

Tell us about your bond with Nani garu.

    • Nani has proved himself as an actor, but as a producer, I have immense respect for him. He takes great initiative in encouraging new talent. Just like Super Good Films, Suresh Productions, and Usha Kiran Movies, Wall Poster Cinema is becoming a strong banner.
    • Supporting a film made by newcomers by putting his own reputation at stake is not a small thing. It shows his confidence in cinema. I feel lucky to have worked under Nani’s banner.
    • Deepti garu was also very supportive. She was always present on set, ensuring everything needed for production was taken care of.
