“No One Can Guess the Climax of Tattvam”: Hero Dinesh Tej
‘Tattvam’ is a fresh murder mystery thriller with a unique concept, says Dinesh Tej
Directed by Arjun Kola, Tattvam features Dinesh Tej and Dashvika K in the lead roles. The film is jointly produced by Sheemakurthi Vamsi Krishna and Swetha Pasupuleti under the banners of Trayathi Ishani Creations and SK Productions.
Tattvam is an intriguing murder mystery thriller that revolves around suspense, belief and human emotions. The film has generated curiosity with its unique storyline, while the recently released trailer and songs have received a positive response from audiences.
The film is gearing up for its theatrical release tomorrow. Ahead of the release, hero Dinesh Tej interacted with the media and spoke about the story, his character, the challenges faced during production, and his expectations from the film.
What made you accept Tattvam?
The twists and turns in Tattvam are such that nobody can easily guess them. What particularly impressed me was the emotional depth of the climax and the central point of the story—what a person discovers about himself and what he ultimately understands about Tattvam.
When I heard the story, I felt that this was a very different and fresh murder mystery thriller. That uniqueness was the biggest reason I wanted to be part of the film. I believe audiences will also experience the same freshness when they watch it in theatres tomorrow.
What kind of story is Tattvam?
There is a very thin line between superstition and belief, and the entire story revolves around that line. The film is set in the year 2000, which also adds a different atmosphere to the narrative.
The story has several layers, and the way they come together is something I found very interesting.

We heard that you met with an accident while working on the film. What happened?
There were certain negative experiences surrounding the film during the promotional phase. Both the heroine and I met with accidents. In a way, we feel that these experiences have somehow taken away the so-called “evil eye” from the film.
For me personally, the accident was a very serious experience. I feel like I got a second life.
However, my confidence in Tattvam has only increased. The faith I had in the film when I first heard the story has become even stronger today. I am confident that audiences will definitely like the movie.
People often ask me, “When will your Friday come? When will your time come?” I believe that day will definitely arrive with Tattvam. I will continue to do my work sincerely and choose good films.
Telugu audiences have always encouraged movies that come up with fresh concepts, and I hope they will give Tattvam the same kind of support. The story is our biggest strength, and the audience is our biggest support.
Whenever a film with a unique concept succeeds, it gives everyone involved greater confidence. I strongly believe the climax of Tattvam will connect emotionally with audiences and touch their hearts.
Do you feel the commercial success you have been waiting for could come with this film?
I am not looking at commercial success alone. There are certain films that I choose because I strongly feel that a particular story needs to be told.
I chose Tattvam because of its novel concept. As an actor, the film has given me a lot of satisfaction.
Whenever we make films with unique and fresh stories, we also earn the respect of the audience. That respect is equally important to me.

How satisfied are you with your role in the film?
Whenever I take up a role, I give it my complete commitment. I always make sure that I do justice to the character to the best of my ability.
For Tattvam too, I gave everything I could to the role. I am personally very satisfied with the way the character has shaped up.
Are you not considering web series at the moment?
I have received offers for OTT web series. However, I did not come across stories that gave me the level of satisfaction I was looking for.
I don’t want to take up a project simply because it is an OTT opportunity. For me, the story and the character have to excite me. Since I did not find something that satisfied me creatively, I decided not to take up those offers.
What are your upcoming projects?
I am currently working on Husharu 2. I have also completed an action drama set against the backdrop of Vizianagaram.
There is also a project titled Katha Keli with director Sathish Vegesna. I am looking forward to all these projects and hope they will offer me interesting opportunities as an actor.

What kind of recognition do you expect after Tattvam?
I believe that after Tattvam, I will become an option for writers who come up with new and interesting stories.
The journey of making Tattvam has been unlike anything I have experienced with my other films. The director and producers faced several challenges and worked extremely hard to bring the film to the stage it is at today.
I believe all those efforts will reflect on the screen. We have sincerely worked towards making a film that offers something different to the audience.
I hope viewers will appreciate our efforts and encourage Tattvam. Ultimately, the audience’s response is what matters most to us.
