‘Korean Kanakaraju’ Gets August 6 Premieres
Mega Prince Varun Tej says the team is so confident about the film that special premieres will be held on August 6 ahead of its worldwide release on August 7.
Mega Prince Varun Tej is gearing up to entertain audiences with his upcoming horror-comedy ‘Korean Kanakaraju’, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. Blending supernatural elements with rib-tickling comedy, the film promises a wholesome theatrical experience for audiences of all ages. Produced jointly by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, the film has already generated strong buzz with its entertaining glimpse, teaser, trailer, and two chartbuster songs.
Ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 7, the makers organized a grand pre-release event in Bhimavaram, where the cast and crew interacted with fans and shared their excitement about the film.
Varun Tej: “We’re Releasing Premieres a Day Early Because We Believe in This Film”
Addressing the gathering, Varun Tej expressed immense confidence in the film and assured audiences of a laughter-filled entertainer.
“Hello everyone! From August 7, Korean Kanakaraju is going to offer non-stop entertainment in theatres. I’m sure every one of you will enjoy this film.”
The actor fondly recalled visiting the same venue during the promotions of Tholi Prema in 2018.
“I have a special connection with this college. After Tholi Prema, it’s wonderful to return here for Korean Kanakaraju. Looking at the incredible energy from all of you today, I feel the magic of Tholi Prema will repeat with this film.”
Varun praised director Merlapaka Gandhi, calling him a filmmaker with exceptional comic timing.
“Gandhi has presented me in a completely new avatar. I strongly believe this will become another major blockbuster in his career.”
The actor also showered praise on music director S. Thaman, saying the composer has elevated the film significantly.
“This is my third film with Thaman. I watched the re-recording, and the background score plays a vital role in the movie. I spent the last ten days with him, and he has truly breathed life into the film.”
Speaking about his co-stars, Varun appreciated Ritika Nayak and comedian Satya.
“Ritika is a wonderful co-star, and I hope Korean Kanakaraju becomes another milestone in her career. The moment Gandhi narrated Krishnappa’s character, Satya was the only person who came to mind. Our combination will keep audiences laughing throughout.”

“Our confidence in Korean Kanakaraju is so high that we’re holding special premieres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on August 6, a day before the official release. The film will be available in theatres from the night of August 6 itself. We are bringing it to you early because we are certain you’ll love it.”
Ritika Nayak: “Chaitra Will Always Be Special to Me”
Leading lady Ritika Nayak thanked director Merlapaka Gandhi for giving her the opportunity to play the memorable character Chaitra.
“I’m grateful to Gandhi garu for believing in me. Chaitra will always remain one of my most cherished characters. He is a hardworking director, and I learned a lot while working with him.”
She also praised Varun Tej and the producers.

Music director S. Thaman shared his excitement, saying Bhimavaram holds a special place in his heart.

Having watched the completed film, Thaman expressed complete confidence.
