Thaman Promises a Magical Experience with OG Tour India in Hyderabad
Sensational music director S.S. Thaman has promised an unforgettable entertainment spectacle as the much-anticipated OG Tour India concert gears up to take place on June 13 at Boulder Hills, Hyderabad. Organized by ACTC Events, the mega musical extravaganza aims to deliver a magical experience packed with chartbuster music, high-energy dance performances, stunning visuals, and world-class production.
Speaking at a press meet held to announce the event, Thaman said the concert is an extension of the celebrations surrounding the phenomenal response to the music of OG. He expressed his excitement about bringing the tour to Hyderabad for the first time and revealed that the event was inspired by the overwhelming love received for the film’s soundtrack.
“Just as Anirudh’s Hukum Tour created a huge impact, the response to OG music has been extraordinary. The songs are being played everywhere, and we wanted to celebrate that energy with a grand live concert. Though the event was initially planned for June 6, it was postponed due to weather forecasts and will now be held on June 13,” said Thaman.
The composer emphasized that audience safety and comfort remain the top priorities. He revealed that the team is working closely with authorities, including police officials, to ensure smooth and secure arrangements for attendees.
Thaman also shared the tour schedule, which includes performances in Hyderabad on June 13, Bengaluru on July 11, Chennai on August 15, and Visakhapatnam on September 25. The Hyderabad concert will serve as the grand opening event for the four-city tour.
Highlighting the scale of the show, Thaman said the concert will feature a carefully curated playlist of his biggest hits across Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinema. Songs of leading stars from various industries will be part of the setlist, accompanied by spectacular choreography and immersive stage production.
“This concert is going to be completely magical. Our playlist itself fills us with energy. Audiences can expect breathtaking fireworks, giant LED screens, 3D visual effects, and electrifying dance performances. I have personally been rehearsing for the show, and fans will get to see full-length dance performances on stage,” he said.
Thaman also revealed that he regularly donates the remuneration earned from his live shows to charitable causes and said details regarding the contribution from this event will be announced after the concert.
Speaking about his upcoming projects, Thaman expressed confidence in films such as NBK111, Mega158, Adarsha Kutumbam, Lenin, and Itlu Arjun, stating that they are shaping up exceptionally well and have the potential to become major blockbusters.
