Varun Sandesh, Gemini Suresh’s ‘Black Mail’ Launched Grandly With Pooja Ceremony In Hyderabad
Actor Varun Sandesh and Gemini Suresh have joined hands for the upcoming entertainer Black Mail, which was launched in a grand manner with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The film is being produced by Avinash Koonapareddy under the Hanuman Film Factory banner, while Srinivas Gundreddy is directing the project besides penning the story and screenplay.
The launch event took place at Prasad Labs and witnessed the presence of several noted personalities from the Telugu film industry. Renowned writer-producer Kona Venkat sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while senior producer Bharadwaj switched on the camera. Gemini Suresh’s mother, M. Venkata Subba Lakshmi, directed the first shot ceremonially. Young actors Rakshith Atluri and Sreelu also attended the launch and extended their wishes to the team.
The film features a strong supporting cast including Prithviraj, Sammeta Gandhi, and Nag Mahesh in pivotal roles.
Speaking on the occasion, director Srinivas Gundreddy thanked the media, guests, and producers for supporting his vision. He revealed that Black Mail is backed by an engaging and powerful storyline that will connect strongly with audiences. He also expressed confidence that the film would impress viewers with its entertaining narrative and emotional depth.
Hero Varun Sandesh shared that he has known the director for many years and instantly liked the story when it was narrated to him. He thanked the producers and guests for their encouragement and confirmed that the regular shooting schedule will commence soon.
Gemini Suresh expressed happiness about collaborating with Varun Sandesh and appreciated producer Avinash Koonapareddy for his continuous support. He added that Srinivas Gundreddy, who introduced him as a lead actor earlier, has once again written a solid role for him in Black Mail.
Music director S.V. Mallik Teja thanked the makers for the opportunity and assured that he would deliver an impressive soundtrack for the film.
Veteran actor Prithviraj stated that the title Black Mail itself sounds intriguing and revealed that the screenplay would be one of the biggest highlights of the movie. He also praised the positive atmosphere maintained by the team and appreciated producer Avinash’s hospitality.

Producer Avinash Koonapareddy spoke passionately about his vision behind entering the film industry. He stated that his primary goal is to create employment opportunities for nearly 200 families through his productions. He further added that he aspires to take Telugu cinema to an international level and made a remarkable announcement that 10 percent of the film’s profits would be shared with the technicians working on the project, reflecting his commitment toward supporting the workforce behind cinema.
