My Bullet Sunil Role in Biker Is Unique – Actor Rajasekhar
Charming star Sharwanand is gearing up to entertain audiences with the high-octane racing drama Biker, directed by Abhilash Reddy and produced under the prestigious UV Creations banner. Touted as India’s first motocross adventure film, Biker is set for release in premium formats such as Dolby Cinema, EPIQ, 4DX, and PCX.
Veteran actor Rajasekhar plays a crucial role in the film. With glimpses, songs, teaser, and trailer already creating massive buzz, the film is all set for a grand theatrical release on April 3. On this occasion, Rajasekhar shared interesting insights about the film in a media interaction.
Q: With Biker releasing in just a few days, are you feeling tense like a lead actor’s release or are you relaxed?
It’s been a long time since one of my films is hitting the screens, and Biker is a project I truly loved working on. I’ve been eagerly waiting for April 3. As the release date approaches, my excitement is only growing. Even though it’s not a solo lead film, I feel the same anticipation—wondering when audiences will watch it and how much they will appreciate it.
Q: What made you accept this film?
For me, the most important thing is the character—I should like it and believe in it. At the same time, the story should also be strong and engaging. When I heard the script of Biker, both the story and my role impressed me immediately. I’m confident that the film will be a big success story-wise, and my character has come out exceptionally well. I’m eagerly waiting for the audience’s response.
Q: Do you personally like bikes?
I’ve loved bikes since childhood. My grandmother had a Bullet, and during holidays, I would ride it around the entire village. That passion only grew stronger over time. During the shooting of Seshu, I even bought a Yamaha 650cc bike and used it for the film, and later for daily riding.
In fact, my wife Jeevitha Rajasekhar once secretly sold my bike because she felt I was riding too dangerously (laughs). In Biker, my character is called “Bullet Sunil.” To know more about him, you’ll have to watch the film.
Q: How was your experience working with director Abhilash Reddy?
Abhilash is a very clear-headed director. He knows exactly what kind of performance he wants from his actors. He has strong command over both the story and the characters and never compromises until he gets what he envisions.
For my role, he was extremely precise in every aspect. He has presented me in a completely new way in this film, which was possible because of his vision and the strength of the story. I’m sure audiences will appreciate my character.
The bike racing sequences are spectacular and have been executed on a Hollywood scale. At the same time, the father-son emotional track is very powerful, with several touching moments.
Q: How was it working with Sharwanand? Did you give any inputs as a senior actor?
I mostly focus on my own character and dialogues. We all worked together like good colleagues and friends. It was a very comfortable and positive experience.
Q: Have you watched the film?
Not yet. I’m planning to watch it with the audience in theatres on the release day.
Q: Your thoughts on UV Creations?
Working with UV Creations is like receiving royal treatment. They never compromise on budget or quality. They have made this film with international standards and ensured top-notch production values. I truly appreciate their commitment. I hope the film becomes a huge success and recovers every penny invested. I strongly believe Biker will be a super hit.

Q: How important is your family’s support in your career?
My family is my biggest strength. My wife Jeevitha and my children are a major reason why this film and my character turned out so well. During the shoot, they took care of me like a mother—dropping me to work and bringing me back home.
Cinema is both our passion and profession. Our entire household revolves around films. We watch new releases in theatres together, discuss scripts and characters as a family, and even talk about daily shoot experiences. Since we are all part of the same profession, there is a great level of comfort and understanding.
Q: What about your upcoming projects?
I’m currently working on Magadu with Pavan Sadineni, which is about 80% complete. The remaining shoot will resume next month. I’m also working on another film with Ramya and Shivani, which is currently in progress—we’ll announce the title soon.
Along with Biker, I believe these films will also turn out to be significant milestones in my career.
