“Chennai Love Story Will Be One of Indian Cinema’s Greatest Love Stories” – Kiran Abbavaram
The much-anticipated romantic drama “Chennai Love Story”, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, is steadily building strong buzz. Backed by the successful makers of Colour Photo and Baby, the film is produced under Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers by SKN and Sai Rajesh. Directed by Ravi Namburi, with story by Sai Rajesh, the film is currently in its final stages of shooting. Music is composed by Melody Brahma Mani Sharma.
The grand launch event of the film’s first song “Gurthundha” was held in Hyderabad, with the team sharing exciting insights about the project.
Editor Santosh Naidu expressed his admiration for Mani Sharma and said he feels privileged to work on a film with such a legendary composer, urging audiences to support the movie.
Editor Viplav shared his happiness about the positive response to the song and revealed he is handling the film’s promotional content. He also expressed gratitude for collaborating again with the same team.
Actor Mahender highlighted the dedication of the lead pair, revealing that Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya spent nearly three hours on a cold beach for a single shot, showcasing their commitment.
Cinematographer Vishwas Daniel, who is collaborating with Kiran for the fifth time, said the film carries a unique emotional tone throughout. He assured that the upcoming content will impress audiences just as much as the song.
Lyricist Ananta Sriram emphasized the positive environment on set, stating that everyone worked selflessly, prioritizing the film over individual egos. He expressed confidence that the film will succeed both critically and commercially.
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni revealed that the film will be “ten times bigger” than Baby. He added that the movie features seven songs, each expected to become hugely popular. He also mentioned that Kiran immediately agreed to the project after hearing the story, sensing its blockbuster potential.
Choreographer Vijay Polaki called “Gurthundha” the best song of his career and praised the team’s creative support. He also expressed confidence that the film will achieve cult status.
Director-producer Sai Rajesh shared that after the success of Baby, the team focused on creating meaningful cinema rather than chasing money. He praised director Ravi Namburi for elevating the story beyond his expectations and revealed that the film moved him emotionally. He also lauded Sri Gouri Priya’s performance, predicting award recognition for her.
Music director Mani Sharma said he was initially unfamiliar with Sai Rajesh but was impressed after learning about his work. He expressed confidence that the film’s music will connect deeply with audiences.
Director Ravi Namburi shared that the film turned out to be much bigger than he initially imagined, thanks to the producers’ faith. He appreciated Kiran’s dedication and said the actor completely immersed himself in the character.
Speaking at the event, Sri Gouri Priya expressed her happiness about the growing expectations and thanked the team for trusting her with such a strong role. She called working with Mani Sharma an honor.
Producer SKN stated that he only takes up projects he truly believes in. He revealed that after Baby, the team carefully chose this story. He also mentioned that the release date will be rescheduled to avoid a clash with Ram Charan’s upcoming film.
