Vijay Antony–Sasi Reunite for ‘Vanda Devullu’; Vishnu Manchu Unveils First Look
The successful combination of Vijay Antony and Sasi, which delivered the blockbuster Bichagadu, is back with a promising new venture titled Vanda Devullu. The film features Swasika as the female lead, alongside a strong supporting cast including Ajay Dhishan, Karunaas, Lijmol Jose, and Kavya Anil.
Produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation in association with Sarvanth Ram Creations, the film is backed by Ramanjaneyulu Javvaji, with Fatima Vijay Antony presenting the project.
The film’s first-look poster was unveiled by Dynamic Star and MAA President Vishnu Manchu, instantly grabbing attention for its raw and rooted appeal. The poster introduces audiences to a gritty rural backdrop, with Vijay Antony appearing in a rugged avatar. Standing amid lush cornfields, dressed in a faded beige shirt and traditional headscarf, his intense and weathered look reflects the struggles of a man shaped by hardship. The sickle in his hand further underlines his identity as a farmer, adding authenticity to the character.
Swasika complements the frame in a traditional saree, exuding quiet strength and emotional depth through her serious, contemplative expression. Together, their presence sets the tone for what promises to be a hard-hitting rural drama with strong emotional undertones.
On the technical front, cinematography is handled by S.B. Darshan Kirlosh, while Balaji Sriram composes the music. Editing is taken care of by Harish Yuvaraj, with V. Sasi Kumar serving as the art director, ensuring a visually grounded and immersive experience.
With shooting currently underway, Vanda Devullu is shaping up to be an intense and compelling addition to Vijay Antony’s filmography, raising expectations among fans and cinephiles alike.
