Vijay Sethupathi–Puri Jagannadh’s Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road First Look Unveiled
The much-anticipated Pan-India project #PuriSethupathi, marking the explosive collaboration between maverick filmmaker Puri Jagannadh and powerhouse performer Vijay Sethupathi, has officially entered the post-production stage, with filming successfully wrapped up. The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner Puri Connects, in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Motion Pictures.
Adding to the excitement, the makers unveiled the title and first-look poster on the special occasion of Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday. Titled Slum Dog, with the intriguing tagline 33 Temple Road, the first look has instantly set social media abuzz.
The striking poster presents Vijay Sethupathi in a raw and ferocious avatar, unlike anything seen before in his career. Sporting disheveled hair and a rugged beard, the actor appears in a beggar’s attire, complemented by a flowing scarf and boots. He grips a massive sickle raised high, while bundles of cash flutter around him amid a dark, fog-laden slum backdrop. The intense imagery powerfully hints at a gritty, high-octane action drama and has significantly raised expectations.
Known for reinventing his protagonists with bold and unconventional characterizations, Puri Jagannadh once again delivers a compelling transformation. With Slum Dog, Vijay Sethupathi steps into a never-before-seen role, promising a character that will stand out as one of the most distinctive performances of his career.

Samyuktha stars as the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi, while acclaimed actors Tabu and Duniya Vijay Kumar play pivotal roles. Adding a dose of humor to the intense narrative, Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh are set to entertain audiences with their comic roles.
The film’s music is composed by National Award-winning composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, renowned for his electrifying background scores in Arjun Reddy and Animal, further amplifying the film’s anticipation.
Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road is gearing up for a grand Pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, promising a powerful cinematic experience across the country.
