Rajasekhar Injured on Set — When Will Biker Release?
Senior actor and action star Rajasekhar is currently playing a crucial role in the upcoming film Biker, which stars Sharwanand in the lead. Directed by Abhilash Kankara, the film is designed as an intense sports–action drama and has been in production for the past few months.
Serious Injury During an Action Sequence
Recently, Rajasekhar suffered a major injury during the shoot. While filming a high-intensity action sequence, he reportedly met with an accident that resulted in a severe ankle injury. According to sources, his ankle bone fractured in multiple places, causing immense pain. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors advised emergency surgery.
Rajasekhar underwent the operation, which lasted for more than two hours. Hospital authorities revealed that he cooperated fully with the orthopedic team throughout the procedure. Close sources informed that his condition is now steadily improving.
A team member shared:
“Last week, during the shoot of Biker, a mishap occurred during an action scene, leading to serious fractures in Rajasekhar’s ankle. Despite the unbearable pain, he cooperated well during the surgery. The two-hour procedure was successful.”
Long Rest Advised — Shoot Temporarily Halted
Doctors have instructed Rajasekhar to take complete rest, especially advising him not to move his injured ankle under any circumstances. A strict three-to-four-week bed rest has been recommended. The actor is currently recovering at home and is expected to rejoin the sets sometime in January.
Due to this sudden incident, the makers of Biker have temporarily paused the shoot. Prioritizing Rajasekhar’s health, the team is now reorganizing the shooting schedule. Filming will resume once he makes a full recovery.
What Happens to Biker’s Release?
Originally, the makers planned to release Biker on December 6 and had officially announced the date. However, they recently postponed the release, stating that they wanted to offer the audience a more refined and unique cinematic experience. A new release date was expected soon, but Rajasekhar’s injury has now created additional delays.
