Rebel Fans, Get Ready to Shake Theatres for “The Raja Saab”: Director Maruthi at the “Rebel Saab” Song Launch
The much-awaited film The Raja Saab, starring Rebel Star Prabhas, director Maruthi, and produced by the prestigious People Media Factory, is gearing up to deliver a perfect festival treat in the horror-comedy genre. Director Maruthi is crafting the film as a grand entertainer, while producer TG Vishwa Prasad is mounting it on a massive scale with uncompromised production values. Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar play the female leads. Doubling the Sankranti excitement, The Raja Saab is heading for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9. Kickstarting promotions, the team launched the first song, “Rebel Saab,” at a grand event in Hyderabad today.

Speaking at the event, SKN said,
“We know how eagerly Rebel fans have been waiting for The Raja Saab. This film is going to be a feast. I’ve been on sets during action scenes, songs, and entertainment episodes—everything is superb. Even while shooting abroad in freezing temperatures, Prabhas danced without hesitation. He kept saying that everything fans missed over the years must be given back to them through this film, no matter how hard he has to work.
Prabhas treats the entire 150-member unit like family—he feeds everyone the same food he eats. He is like a mother. The film features an intro song, a duet, and a combination song with all three heroines—everything fans have been longing to see. “We are waiting for the release of The Raja Saab even more eagerly than the fans. Some wondered if we would truly release on January 9, but yes—we are arriving on that date worldwide. We are planning the biggest global release in the highest number of theatres. On Day 1, The Raja Saab will break all box-office records.
Though the film took time, we are creating something huge—fights, songs, dances, entertainment, horror, action, and stunning visuals. It’s been years since fans saw Prabhas dancing with massive groups of dancers, and we brought that back. Nearly a thousand dancers worked on ‘Rebel Saab’, and it will thoroughly impress you. This is probably the film for which Prabhas worked the most days. He’s a sweet person, and making such a big film with him has been a joy.”
