Operation Padma Gears Up for Theatrical Release with Intense Trailer”
“Operation Padma” Trailer Launched: A Different Political Suspense Thriller Gearing Up for a Grand Theatrical Release
The upcoming political–suspense thriller “Operation Padma” is all set to hit theatres soon. Starring Naresh Medi, Raghu, Rajitha Sandy, Ranadheer Beesu, Raghava Mandalapu, and Peddi Raju in key roles, the film is produced under Krishav Cinemas and KVM Arts LLP by Ghattamaneni Aravind Babu, Raghava Mandalapu, and Rambabu Mandalapu. Karthik Mandalapu serves as the co-producer, while K.T. Mallikarjun is the creative head. The film is directed by Karthikeya V.
On Sunday, the team held a grand trailer launch event in Hyderabad, which saw participation from several film personalities.
Dialogue Writer Prem Raj Enumula
“Thanks to everyone who came forward to support Operation Padma. I have written dialogues for three of the four films directed by Karthikeya. The movie carries strong content, and I hope audiences will support it wholeheartedly,” he said.
Actor Peddi Raju
“I’m happy to have played a good character in Operation Padma. Our cast and crew supported us throughout. My heartfelt thanks to everyone extending their help to our small film,” he said.
Producer & Distributor Muthyala Ramdas
“No matter how much we discuss, small films often remain neglected. But good content is always recognized. Director Karthikeya is a talented filmmaker, and I wish success for him and the entire team,” he expressed.
Producer–Actor D.S. Rao
“The trailer of Operation Padma looks very good, with strong dialogues. Karthikeya is known for choosing fresh actors and making interesting films with them. I hope this movie also becomes a success for the whole team,” he added.
Actor Ranadheer Beesu
“I’m playing one of the lead roles. This is my second film as an actor. Just like the trailer, the movie will impress audiences. We are coming to theatres very soon,” he said.
Actor Naresh Medi
“This political drama is a gripping suspense thriller. After watching the first copy, our confidence doubled. We felt this film deserved a theatrical release. I thank director Karthikeya and our producers for giving me this opportunity,” he shared.
Heroine Rajitha Sandy
“I play the titular character Padma, which has two very distinct shades. We underwent 20 days of workshops for this film. This is my first theatrical release, and we believe this different political suspense thriller will hook the audience,” she said.
Producer Raghava Mandalapu
“Director Karthikeya is a diamond we discovered. He has immense talent. I initially planned to make one film, but we are now preparing for three projects. After seeing the output of Operation Padma, Ghattamaneni Aravind Babu joined us as a producer. We hope this film marks a strong beginning for our production house,” he said.
“We completed the film right on schedule. After 18 days of workshops, we shot the entire film in a single 27-day schedule. The support of my team made this possible. Prem Raj has been writing dialogues for all my films. The cast performed exceptionally well. I’m happy Aravind Babu garu joined production after watching the film’s output. My heartfelt thanks to all our producers,” he said.
“The trailer shows a strong women empowerment theme. Rajitha did very well as Padma, even in action sequences. Producer Raghava not only produced the film but also acted in it. Having a producer who understands distribution right from the shooting stage is an advantage. Usually, directors and producers argue by the end of a film, but this team staying united itself is the movie’s first success,” he noted.
Producer Damodara Prasad
“The trailer looks impressive. Lately, small films are performing well. Director Karthikeya is talented. When working with newcomers, the content must be strong—and that content should speak for itself. Making a film is only half the job; taking it to audiences is equally important. A good film recently failed due to weak promotions. Make sure to promote Operation Padma well. My best wishes to the entire team,” he advised.
