Get ready for a festive treat! Team Patang has officially locked its worldwide theatrical release date — the much-awaited sports comedy will soar into cinemas on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2025.
Originally planned for December 2024, the release was postponed to allow for extensive CG enhancements and fine-tuning, ensuring a visually captivating experience. With post-production now complete, Patang is ready to charm audiences with its vibrant storytelling and fresh concept.
Set against the backdrop of a high-stakes kite-flying competition, Patang brings an unexplored sport to Telugu cinema, blending comedy, emotion, and celebration into one colorful package.
The film stars Preethi Pagadala, Vamssi Pujit, Pranav Kaushik, Anu Hassan, S.P. Charan, Vadlamani Srinivas, Vishnu Oi, and Sivanarayana in key roles. It also marks the directorial debut of Praneeth Prattipati, who promises to deliver a uniquely entertaining cinematic experience.
Produced under the banners of Cinematic Elements and Rishaan Cinemas, the film is backed by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Reddy Kothinti, and Naani Bandreddi.
