Prime Video has announced September 12 as the global premiere date for its upcoming Original comedy-drama series Do You Wanna Partner. Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the series is backed by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta, with Somen Mishra and Archit Kumar serving as executive producers. The show is directed by Collin D’Cunha and Kumar, and written by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gangopadhyay. It has been created by Gangopadhyay and Nishant Nayak.
Headlined by Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty, the ensemble also features Jaaved Jaafery, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha. Do You Wanna Partner will stream exclusively on Prime Video in India and in more than 240 countries and territories.
Storyline
The series follows best friends Shikha (Tamannaah Bhatia) and Anahita (Diana Penty) as they embark on the risky but ambitious journey of launching their own alcohol start-up. Set in a bustling urban backdrop, the show explores their struggle to make a mark in the male-dominated craft beer industry. Through witty encounters, unconventional problem-solving, and relentless hustle, the duo redefines female ambition with resilience, humour, and creativity.
