73rd Republic Day was celebrated with much fan fare in Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute in its premises today. On this occassion, Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna, BIACH&RI has unflured the national flag in the monring. After the flag hoisting, he along with staff members of BIACH&RI has sung the national anthem to salute Indian Flag.
Addressing the gathering of doctors, staff members, patients and general public attending the program, Sri Nandamuri Balakrishna has said that India achieved independece due to selfless service done by several great people and later became republic after constitution has been drafted under the leadership of Dr Baba Sahed Ambedkar. He said that over a period of seven decades, India has emerged as one of leading democratic nation. Sri Balakrishna has said that constitution has became a guiding force for India that was riddiled with several problems at the time of its independence. He also explained the way the Indian constituion has allowed the nation to be recognised as world largest democracy.
Following the footsteps of several such great souls, Later Sri NT Rama Rao has established Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute to provide world class cancer care to poor. Appreciating the efforts of doctors, medical staff in providing care to patients despite COVID pandemic with much bravary Sri Balakrishna expressed confidence that even during OMICRON pandemic the efforts of Doctors and Staff Members of the hospital will continue with out any inturrpution. Pointing out the recent NITI Ayog study that found BIACH&RI as one of the best trust hospitals in India, Sri Balakrishna expressed happiness on such recognition.
These programs were attended by Sri Balakrishna along with Dr RV Prabhakar Rao, CEO, BIACH&RI; Dr TS Rao, Medical Director, BIACH&RI; Dr Phani Koteswara Rao, MS, BIACH&RI; Dr Senthil Rajappa, HOD, Medical Oncology, BIACH&RI; along with other doctors, staff members.
