Harsha Chemudu: “Season 2 is bigger, better, and made on a grand scale”
• A large-scale upgrade:
“Season 1 was made on a smaller budget. After the hit it became, Season 2 was planned on a bigger scale—with higher production values, more locations, and a larger cast.”
• What’s new this season:
“There are exciting guest appearances too. My character tries to settle the revenge thread from Season 1. Unlike many Telugu web shows, 3 Roses is a proper sequel that continues the story organically.”
• On the team:
“This season has a single director, Kiran, handling all episodes. Since the writers and team stayed the same, the coordination was excellent. The series is full-on fun and entertainment, but also touches upon life, relationships, and friendship—without giving preachy messages.”
• Cast & roles:
“Along with us, Sudarshan, Satya, and Prabhas Srinu add so much strength to the cast. As actors, we all struggled a lot before getting recognition. Today I choose roles based purely on quality—lead or supporting doesn’t matter.”
• Upcoming work:
“I play an important role in a film by Sai Rajesh. I also appear in Prabhas’ The Raja Saab in a crucial sequence. Sundaram Master couldn’t release properly due to the COVID situation back then. I acted in Bakasura in a very different character and will also be seen in Mowgli.”
• On trends in cinema:
“Right now, the ‘fun trend’ is ruling. Audiences love full entertainer films. But trends keep changing—another one will come soon.”
