The Telangana government has announced the winners of the prestigious Gaddar Film Awards for the year 2025, recognizing outstanding contributions to Telugu cinema across various categories. The awards continue to celebrate excellence in filmmaking, honoring artists, technicians, and industry veterans who have made remarkable contributions to the industry.
This year, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya won the Best Actor award for his powerful performance in Thandel, while Rashmika Mandanna bagged the Best Actress award for her role in The Girlfriend. The film Raju Weds Rambai emerged as the Best Film, earning widespread appreciation.
One of the highlights of the awards was the announcement of the prestigious NTR National Award, which was conferred upon Chiranjeevi in recognition of his exceptional and lasting contribution to Telugu cinema.
Filmmaker Anil Ravipudi received the Best Screenplay Writer award, further cementing his reputation as one of the most successful storytellers in contemporary Telugu cinema.
